Internet Email Scam

People Telecom is warning its customers to be aware of hoax emails claiming to be from People Telecom. Although the email may appear genuine, these emails are sometimes fraudulent and have not been sent by the Company.

We have been notified of some email requests seeking confirmation of personal and account details. Please be advised that under no circumstances will People Telecom request confirmation of such details via email or other mediums related to the Internet. If you suspect you have received one of these emails please delete it immediately.

Further, if you suspect your personal details have been compromised please contact People Telecom customer care immediately on 1300 55 8888 or email abuse@peopletelecom.com.au.
