What is included with each plan?

Each ADSL Broadband plan comes with the following inclusions:

10 email addresses

You have 10 email addresses that you can create yourself through our PeopleNet facility. These email addresses, subject to availability, will be in the form of xxxx@people.net.au.

30 megabytes of email storage space This is the total combined storage space for the 10 email addresses.

Web mail access

This is available for all of your email accounts. This provides you access to your email from anywhere on the internet. Webmail can be accessed from here

50 megabytes of web space You can use this space to upload your own personal website. You will find the FTP instructions for loading your website on the support area of this website.Web support for: PHP, Perl/cgi, MySQL database and Server Side Includes.

Dynamic IP A Dynamic IP address is a temporary address that is assigned to your service for a fixed length of time after which the IP address will change.

Optional Inclusions

Static IP

Static IPs allow you to run your own services such as remote access with minimal fuss, compared to using such services on a dynamic IP service.

Flat-Rate Plans

These plans are speed-limited to 64kbps once the monthly usage limit has been reached. You will not be charged for any data transferred over your monthly plan limit. Once the current month has ended you will return to full plan speed.

What modem is needed?

You will require an ADSL modem, either USB or Ethernet, to connect to ADSL Broadband. We can provide USB or Ethernet/USB modem/routers from $79 delivered by courier to you. Prices and specifications can be found here

How do I order People Telecom ADSL Broadband?

New users to ADSL broadband and existing users with another provider can apply online for our service by entering your details into our secure online application form.

Once you have applied you will receive a confirmation of your application via email, you can then regularly check the status of your application by visiting our application status page.
